The short and Sweet Truth

by Sheila on July 19, 2009

I never anticipated that I’d have so many people ask me why I named my business “The Sweet Truth”.  In thinking about it, I don’t remember even considering any other names.  “The Sweet Truth” was placed on my heart right from the start.  I knew it would be a name that reflected and honored the one true source of all that I have and all that I am — Jesus.  And that’s what Jesus is in my life … not just the Truth, but the oh, so sweet Truth!  Jesus told his disciples “I am the way and the truth and the life” (John 14:6). And to those in disbelief, Jesus responds “I tell you the truth … I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full”. (John 10:10). I also knew it would be a name that didn’t just describe what I do or what I make … but instead, fully represent my faith and who I am working for.  I hope that I’ve succeeded.

So there you have it … the short, sweet truth.

As always, thank you for giving me the opportunity to create something special for you … and for our glorious King!

Your pieces are something that would fit in nicely at my shop and I think the Prayer Boxes will be a big hit! Please let me know if you are interested.
